Does Max have a free trial?
No, at this time there is no way to get Max via a free trial. Occasionally, it will offer a seven-day free viewing period to customers who sign up through Amazon’s Prime Video platform, but this trial is usually only made available for a limited time.
How to sign up for Max
- Click here to sign up for a Max account.
- Click “Get Max” button.
- Choose your plan, then click “Select Monthly” or “Select Yearly” to choose an annual plan.
- Create an account with a username and password.
- Enter payment information and finish signing up.
What subscription options does Max offer?
Max has three distinct plan options available. The first is its ad-supported tier, which costs $10 per month or $100 per year. Features on this plan include:
- The ability to stream on two devices in the same household at once.
- Full 1080p HD screen resolution.
- Access to Max, the CNN Max hub, and the Bleacher Report Sports add-on.
The ad-free plan cuts out commercials during playback, though you’ll still see ads for other Max content before you play a show or movie on occasion. This plan costs $17 per month or $170 annually, and comes with all the features of Max with ads, plus:
- The ability to download up to 30 titles to watch on the go.
Finally, the Ultimate plan runs $21 per month or $210 per year. It also streams ad-free and comes with more features than the other two tiers, including:
- The ability to stream on four devices at once.
- 4K video quality and Dolby Atmos sound on select titles.
- The option to download 100 titles for offline viewing.
Can Max be shared outside your home?
Max’s terms of service state that sharing an account with viewers outside your home isn’t allowed. You can watch a Max account on multiple devices within the same household, though how many simultaneous streams you’re allowed depends on which plan you’re signed up for.
What can you watch on Max?
Max has a huge library of content to enjoy. You can stream HBO titles like “Dune: Prophecy,” “The Last of Us” and “The Penguin,” or blockbuster Warner Bros. movies like “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” and “Dune: Part Two” on the streamer. Favorites from Cartoon Network, Discovery, Food Network, HGTV, Magnolia Network, and other Warner Bros. Discovery-owned cable channels are also available on-demand on Max.
The streamer also carries news content from CNN in the CNN Max hub, and live sporting events airing on TNT, TBS, and truTV in the Bleacher Report Sports add-on. Max will eventually charge $10 per month for the B/R Sports Add-On, but as of the time of this writing, it’s still free!
