DISH continues to offer satellite TV packages as it has for decades, but there’s another way for audiences to access high-quality cable channels that the company distributes: Sling TV. Sling is a live TV streaming service that doesn’t require viewers to get a satellite installation or use other bulky equipment to watch. Instead, it delivers cable channels with nothing but a high-speed internet connection.

Sling TV comes with smaller channel packages that cost significantly less than the cable packages of old. What options do you have when signing up for Sling TV?

Direct subscription

The only way to sign up for a Sling TV account is with a direct subscription. The Sling TV website allows customers to subscribe to all Sling TV plans, including the base Orange and Blue subscriptions that currently cost $46 per month. Viewers can also combine the packages of both plans for $61 per month, use Passes to sign up for Sling Orange for as little as $5 per day, or shop the Sling Select plan.

To sign up for Sling directly:

  3. Create a Sling TV account with a username and password.
  4. Enter payment details and finish checking out.

Can you bundle any services with Sling TV?

There are several premium services you can bundle with your Sling TV subscription. However, unlike on-demand streaming bundles that combine several services for a discount off what customers would pay to subscribe to all of those streamers separately, Sling TV’s add-ons are typically sold at full price.

Sling TV

Sling TV is The Streamable’s choice for cord-cutters on a budget. Sling is a live TV streaming service with multiple channel packages. The $45.99/month Sling Orange plan offers about 30 channels, including Disney Channel and ESPN. The $45.99/month Sling Blue plan offers about 40 channels, including ABC, Fox, and NBC in major markets.

You can combine Orange+Blue for a total of $60.99 / month. Sling also offers many channel add-on packages starting at $6/month.
