How to Stream All 2024 Emmy Award Winners; ‘The Bear,’ ‘Beef,’ ‘Succession,’ ‘Drag Race,’ More
The list of primetime Emmy winners will be very familiar to those who also watched the Golden Globes.
It’s only January, but it already feels like last year’s WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes seem like they were years ago. Hollywood’s brightest are ready to get out and celebrate their achievements again, and the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards were Tinseltown’s latest chance to honor the best in TV from the past year.
- “The Bear” tied with “Succession” for the most wins of the evening, with both shows taking home six awards.
- “RuPaul’s Drag Race” won its fifth consecutive Emmy for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program.
- Netflix’s “Beef” nearly matched the two award leaders on the evening with five Emmys.
It was expected that “Succession” would continue to pile up wins, but “The Bear” is continuing to send notice that it will be a hard competitor to come up against in future years. This year’s strike-postponed Emmys covers shows that aired between June 1, 2022, and May 31, 2023, so the first season of “The Bear” is the one in competition this awards season.
