How to Stream All of the 2024 Golden Globe Winning Movies, TV Shows; Max, Hulu, Netflix Lead the Way

HBO, Hulu, Netflix each claimed one of the major television awards on Sunday night.

The 2024 awards season got off to an exciting start on Sunday as the 2024 Golden Globes aired on a new home. After years of being an NBC staple, the often-alcohol-fueled awards ceremony made its debut on CBS this year hosted by Jo Koy. While the first-time host’s performance is not likely to receive any awards, streaming services took home their fair share of trophies.

  • Unsurprisingly, HBO’s “Succession” took home the Emmy for Best Drama Series. The show also aired on streaming service Max.
  • Even though “The Bear” is branded as an FX show, the Best Comedy or Musical Series winner airs its episodes on Hulu.
  • Netflix’s “BEEF” starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong won for Best Limited Series, Anthology, or TV Movie.

The big winners at the first ceremony of the season were to be expected. Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” claimed five awards in the film categories, while HBO’s “Succession” took home the most trophies in the television categories. However, it was Netflix that took home the most TV awards with five to HBO’s four from “Succession.” In addition to “BEEF,” the world’s largest streamer picked up two additional awards.
