The clock is ticking for the existence of the Hulu app. At some point in 2026, Disney plans to fully integrate Hulu with Disney+, creating a true one-app experience for its streaming entertainment content. There won’t be any reason for a standalone Hulu platform when this happens, and Disney will probably save a decent chunk of change by shutting it down.
But until then, viewers still need to use the Hulu app or website to watch titles like “What We Do in the Shadows” or “Bob’s Burgers” if they don’t also have a Disney+ subscription. Making changes to a Hulu account is relatively simple, thankfully, and we’ll show you how if you need to do it.

To get to your account settings on Hulu, just use the following simple steps:
- Click here to log into your Hulu account.
- Find your profile icon — in the top-right corner on web browsers.
- Find Account in the drop-down menu.
- Enter your login credentials to confirm your identity.
How to change username, password with Hulu
Like with Disney+, your Hulu login credentials are preserved by your MyDisney account, which uses the same username and password to give you access to all Disney services. You can change this username and password from your Hulu account, but it will affect all your other Disney subscriptions, so make sure you remember your new login credentials.
To change login information on Hulu, go to the account settings menu using the process detailed above. Click Manage with MyDisney to change your username and/or password, and follow the on-screen prompts given by Hulu to do so. Make sure you still have access to the original email you want to change away from in this process, as you’ll need to verify your identity to change credentials.
Can you change your Disney Bundle plan or payment information on Hulu?
You cannot change your Disney Bundle plan from the account menu on Hulu. This is only possible via the Disney+ website; click here to learn how to change your Disney Bundle plan through Disney+.
If you get Hulu through the Disney Bundle, you also cannot change payment settings on Hulu. You’ll have to go to Disney+ to do that, but if you subscribe to Hulu alone, you can update your payment settings from the account menu by clicking Your Subscription and adjusting your payment settings to your liking.
What other settings can you adjust on Hulu?
The Hulu account settings section allows you to adjust your name, birthday, and gender in the Personal Information section, as well as manage all devices your Hulu account is being used on. If you prefer, you can remove devices from these lists and revoke their ability to stream your Hulu account until logged in again.
