How to update your email address on Netflix

To change your email address on Netflix, open the streamer’s website on any browser. Then:

1. Navigate to your profile icon, and click Account Settings in the drop-down menu.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click Email.
4. Click Change Email.
5. Verify your account by entering your password.
6. Check your current email for a link to change to a new email address.

You cannot change your email address when using a kids’ profile on Netflix. The new address must be between 4 and 50 characters, and you cannot use an email address that’s already in use on another Netflix account.

How to change payment details on Netflix

1. Find the Manage payment info page on Netflix by following that link. You must use a web browser to do this unless you download the Netflix app from the Galaxy store.
2. Choose the card you want to update, or select Change Payment Method.
3. Enter the new payment details.

Once again, you cannot change your password from a kid’s profile on Netflix. Open your web browser, then:

3. Choose a new password between six and 60 characters.
4. Decide whether to log out on all devices.
5. Click Save to update your password.

Your password should have a mix of upper- and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

Adding a phone number to your Netflix account can make it easier to sign in, improve security, and restore your account if you ever forget your password. Open Netflix on your browser again, then:
