About 2024 Democratic National Convention
The Democratic National Convention will give voters the chance to get to know Vice President Harris and her running mate, Minnesota governor Tim Walz before the November election. The party will lay out its vision for the future, its key planks on issues such as abortion, immigration, the economy, voting rights, and more, as well as its argument that former President Donald Trump is not qualified to lead the country.
Every major broadcast channel is expected to offer at least some coverage of the convention, including speeches by Vice President Harris and Governor Walz. MSNBC is generally recognized as the most left-leaning news outlet on TV and will offer the largest array of coverage of the convention over its four days.
The DNC has not announced a speaker schedule as of the time of this writing, but it is known when major party figures like President Biden, former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and former President Bill Clinton will address the convention.
