Why recommend watching the 2025 Daytona 500 on Sling TV

Sling TV is our favorite way to watch the 2025 NASCAR season because it is the cheapest way to watch all of the races available on broadcast and cable channels. While some races will be Prime Video-streaming exclusives, all of the races that will appear on Fox, FS1, NBC, TNT, and the USA Network are available on Sling.

While these channels are not all found on the same Sling base package, the streamer makes it incredibly easy to switch between plans in order to ensure that you have all of the channels you want to watch every single race. Fortunately, all of the channels covering NASCAR races can be found on the Blue plan, which costs $46 per month. However, right now, new customers receive 50% off their first month, making it just $23 for your first month.

In addition, thanks to the service’s limited-time 10th-anniversary offer, there are more savings in store. Sling is now offering new subscribers $10 off their first month of service, free unlimited DVR, free access to Max for a month, and free AMC+ for the rest of 2025! That’s a ton of value for a starting price of $36.

Keep in mind that Sling TV only offers Fox in 18 markets across the country. So, if you live near one of the cities listed below, we think this is the best option for NASCAR fans.

Can you stream the 2025 Daytona 500 for free?

Not the entire season, as it stretches all the way through November. However, Fubo and YouTube TV offer free trials of varying length, but without knowing what those streamers will offer you, it is difficult to recommend them. However, DIRECTV STREAM, which starts at $87 per month, comes with a five-day free trial, and Hulu + Live TV ($83 per month) offers a trial of three days in length.

What are all the streamers you can use to watch the 2025 Daytona 500?

About the 2025 Daytona 500

The 2025 NASCAR season officially kicks off with the Daytona 500 on Sunday, Feb. 16, at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. Known as “The Great American Race,” this 500-mile showdown is all about high-speed action, nail-biting finishes, and serious bragging rights. Forty drivers will battle it out for 200 laps, with qualifying and the Duel races earlier in the week setting up the starting grid.

Daytona’s 2.5-mile tri-oval is one of the most famous tracks in motorsports, built for speed with high-banked turns that keep drivers pushing the limits at nearly 200 mph. The tight packs and drafting battles make every lap a white-knuckle ride, where one wrong move can take out half the field. Every lap counts, so expect nonstop intensity from start to finish. This race isn’t just an opener - it sets the tone for the whole season. Catch it live on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 2:30 p.m. ET on Fox!
