As with the quarterfinal round, the semis will take place over the course of two legs. Each team will get a chance to play in front of their home crowd, and the club with the highest aggregate score over two legs moves on to the final round. If the aggregate score is tied at the end of leg two, a 30-minute extra time period is played, followed by a penalty shootout if the teams are still at a draw.

Arsenal defeated Real Madrid 5-1 in aggregate to arrive in the semifinals, and have already defeated PSG in the league phase of the tournament in October. PSG will be relying on their star power to help them get past the English side. Meanwhile, the matchup of Barcelona’s attack against Inter’s stingy defense will also be must-watch TV, and Inter’s Lautaro Martinez became the team’s first player to score in five consecutive Champions League games when he found the net in both quarterfinal games.
