Can you stream the 2025 WSOP for free?

No, not entirely. PokerGo regularly makes a small selection of its broadcasts available for free on its YouTube page, but the exact schedule for the Main Event has not yet been confirmed. So, if you want to catch all of the WSOP Main Event action, then you will need to sign up for a subscription to PokerGo.

Fortunately, a subscription to the service comes with so much more than just WSOP coverage. So, you can watch the entire WSOP between now and mid-July, as well as other star-studded events like the Poker Masters, U.S. Poker Open, Super High Roller Bowl, “High Stakes Poker,” “Poker After Dark,” and much more. Monthly subscriptions start at $20, with quarterly plans costing $40 and annual plans costing $100. You can also opt for the PokerGo VIP plan, which also includes membership to the PokerU training program, special VIP events, and a $25 credit to the PokerGo shop. This option runs $300 annually.

In addition, all annual subscribers will be entered into a drawing to win a Dream Seat into the 2025 PGT (PokerGo Tour) $1,000,000 Championship. So, for $80, you can stream the best poker action in the world, and potentially win $1 million! What’s not to love?

What do you need to know about PokerGo’s WSOP coverage?

PokerGO is set to offer the most comprehensive way to experience the poker’s most prestigious (and richest) tournament series. While the first month of the series will focus on various bracelet events, including the $50,000 Poker Players Championship, $250,000 High Roller, $25,000 Heads-Up Championship, and $1,000 Ladies Championship, beginning on Wednesday, July 2, the cards will be in the air for the Main Event.

For each day of action, PokerGo will have wall-to-wall coverage with multiple announce teams bringing you updates from around the Paris and Horseshoe. The six weeks of poker will wrap up with the crowning of the 2025 world champion on Wednesday, July 16.

How to watch the 2025 WSOP from anywhere

If you’ll be away from home and can’t watch the poker action as you normally would, you can still catch all of the action no matter where you are with a VPN. A VPN can be used on your phone, tablet, or computer and make you appear to be back home, even when you’re not, ensuring you feel at home no matter where you are. A VPN is a safe and secure way to stay protected online while streaming your favorite sports, movies, and shows on the go. Remember that you will still need to be subscribed to PokerGo to stream the Indy 500 with a VPN.

SurfShark is one of the best providers around at one of the best prices. Currently, you can get SurfShark’s protection for as little as $2.19 per month. All plans include a secure VPN, ad blocker, and cookie pop-up blocker, so you will be covered from every angle. And since SurfShark’s protection is available on unlimited devices, you won’t have to pick and choose which ones to prioritize. Simply sign up, install the software on your device of choice, and start streaming just as you would back home. It couldn’t be easier!

While SurfShark is our recommendation for the best value VPN to use while you are traveling, there are a number of other high-quality options available depending on what you are looking for.

  • Best Budget Option: NordVPN | Starting at $3.39 per month
  • Best Features: ExpressVPN | Starting at $5 per month
  • Best Free Option: Proton VPN | Free plan available
