Everything you need to know about 2026 Golden Globe Awards

What time are the 2026 Golden Globes?

The Golden Globes award ceremony will begin at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 11, on CBS.

Why do we recommend watching 2026 Golden Globes on DIRECTV?

The sheer availability of the CBS broadcast channel on numerous DIRECTV packages makes it the top streamer for watching this year’s Golden Globes. Viewers can find CBS in any of DIRECTV’s Signature plans, starting at $90 per month for 90+ channels.

Viewers can also find CBS in the MySports and MyNews Genre Packs, costing $70 and $40 per month, respectively. These smaller-sized packages allow customers to pay for only the type of channel they watch most, and not have to worry about paying for a bloated package with a ton of networks they’ll never watch.

In addition, DIRECTV comes with a five-day free trial for new customers who opt to stream the service with their own device! Those are our top reasons for recommending DIRECTV to watch the Golden Globes this year, along with a wide selection of other marquee programming as the year goes along.
