Season 3 of “Bosch: Legacy” will be based on Michael Connelly’s novels “Desert Star” and “The Black Ice,” which should give fans of the franchise some idea of what will happen during the season. Harry Bosch is a retired LAPD homicide detective, and now works as a private investigator on some of the toughest cases of his life.

As the murder investigation of Kurt Dockweiler continues, dangerous secrets are brought to life that could ruin Bosch, as well as his daughter Maddie and attorney Honey “Money” Chandler. She’s running for district attorney, and Maddie is caught up in a series of violent robberies. All the while, Bosch is haunted by the disappearance of an entire family.
