The 250th anniversary of the United States is coming up on Saturday, and Disney wants to celebrate the country’s birthday as only it can. “Disney Celebrates America: The Pursuit of Happiness” is a two-hour special that will air on Monday, June 29, on ABC at 8 p.m. ET. The special will take viewers on a coast-to-coast road trip, using Disney Parks and attractions to discuss some of America’s greatest traditions. Fans can watch the special with a subscription to Sling TV.

What time does ‘Disney Celebrates America: The Pursuit of Happiness’ stream?

“Disney Celebrates America: The Pursuit of Happiness” will air live on ABC on Monday, June 29, at 8 p.m. ET. The two-hour special will continue through 10 p.m. ET.

Viewers will also be able to stream “Disney Celebrates America: The Pursuit of Happiness” the day after it airs on ABC with a Hulu subscription. The streamer offers two standalone plans: ad-supported for $12 per month, or ad-free for $19. Customers can also bundle Hulu with Disney+ and ESPN Unlimited for an additional fee. Disney+ will also stream the special starting Tuesday, June 30, and its ad-supported and ad-free standalone plans are priced the same as Hulu’s.

Why watch ‘Disney Celebrates America: The Pursuit of Happiness’ on Sling TV?

While Sling TV doesn’t carry ABC in all markets in the United States, it does offer the channel in some of the country’s biggest cities, including Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and others. The service offers ABC in its Blue package starting at $46 per month, or its Select plan starting at $20 per month — far less than most other streamers charge for access to the channel.

Customers with a Sling Blue subscription can also watch other local channels Fox and NBC in some markets, as well as popular cable channels like CNN, Fox News, FS1, MS NOW, TNT, and more. It’s a smaller plan, but it’s very well-rounded and affordable.

There are streaming services that offer free trials, which can be used to watch “Disney Celebrates America: The Pursuit of Happiness’ on ABC at no cost.

DIRECTV carries ABC in all Signature packages, starting with the ENTERTAINMENT plan at $90 per month. The channel is also found in the MySports and MyNews Genre Packs from DIRECTV, costing $65 and $45 per month, respectively. All plans come with a five-day free trial for new subscribers.
