Arnold’s back — here’s everything to know about ‘FUBAR’ Season 2
Carrie-Anne Moss joins the action as Luke’s deadly former flame.
Get ready to dive back into the chaos — because Luke Brunner isn’t done blowing stuff up and making dad jokes just yet. If you loved the spy vs. spy family mess of “FUBAR” Season 1, Season 2 looks even more unhinged. We’re talking exes with grenades, identity crises with punchlines, and one seriously awkward dance scene. Oh, and did we mention Carrie-Anne Moss is joining the fun? Here’s everything you need to know before FUBAR Season 2 drops Thursday, June 12 on Netflix.
Everything you need to know about ‘FUBAR’ Season 2:
When will episodes of ‘FUBAR’ Season 2 come on Netflix?
Season 2 of “FUBAR” officially drops on Thursday, June 12, 2025. Netflix is releasing all eight episodes at once, so you’ll be able to binge the entire season right away. Like most Netflix originals, the episodes should go live around 3 a.m. ET (that’s midnight if you’re on the West Coast). So if you’re planning to dive in early, you might want to stock up on ammo… aka caffeine.
Who’s been cast in ‘FUBAR’ Season 2?
Season 2 of “FUBAR” brings back the full chaotic crew from Season 1, including Arnold Schwarzenegger as Luke, Monica Barbaro as Emma, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Milan Carter, Andy Buckley, Fabiana Udenio, Jay Baruchel, Aparna Brielle, and Scott Thompson. Expect all the usual mayhem — and then some.
The big new addition this season? Carrie-Anne Moss, who joins the cast as Greta Nelso, a former East German spy with a complicated history with Luke. She’s sharp, deadly, and definitely not here to play nice. Also returning are supporting players like Adam Pally as The Great Dane and Tom Arnold as Norm, adding to the mix of action, dysfunction, and comedy that made Season 1 such a ride.
What happened at the end of ‘FUBAR’ Season 1?
Spoiler Alert. There are spoilers below for Season 1 of ‘FUBAR.’
Season 1 ends the only way “FUBAR” knows how: with daddy issues, explosions, and one last insane twist. After chasing down weapons of mass destruction and emotionally dodging each other for eight episodes, Luke and Emma finally stop Boro — until a wedding gets turned into a war zone.
Just when it seems like Luke might actually retire and patch things up with his ex, mercenaries crash the ceremony, and Boro (yep, somehow alive) shows up holding Tally hostage. Emma and Luke shoot him down for good this time — no more rat blood miracles — but that’s not the end of their problems. Luke gets a call that all their covers have been blown, and suddenly, the whole team’s got a giant target on their backs.
And just when you think the chaos might calm down, there’s Tina. The sweet, slightly awkward NSA analyst with a thing for Barry drops a bomb of her own. Turns out she’s not just some background tech nerd — she’s secretly working for the Russians. Or… maybe not? She does help the team escape and warn them about the leak, but she’s also clearly got her own game going. With a single switch to a Russian accent, she becomes the most suspicious person on the team. Season 2 is definitely teeing up something big, and now no one — not even the nerdy ones — can be trusted.
FUBAR
When a father and daughter discover they both secretly work for the CIA, their high-stakes missions get tangled up with awkward family dynamics.
What is ‘FUBAR’ Season 2 about?
Season 2 of “FUBAR” throws Luke Brunner and his CIA misfit crew straight into the fire. After blowing Boro to pieces (again) and having their covers blown at the worst wedding ever, the team’s officially on the run. There’s no safe house, no back-up, and definitely no normal life — everyone who’s ever wanted them dead now knows exactly who they are. And to make things even messier, Luke’s got a new problem that hits close to home: his ex. Carrie-Anne Moss joins the cast as Greta Nelson, a former East German spy with a serious grudge, a thick accent, and a personal history with Luke that’s about to explode.
But this season’s not just about dodging bullets and awkward reunions — it’s about figuring out who to trust when everyone might be lying. Tina, the analyst with a secret Russian connection, is still in the mix, and now that the team knows there’s a mole, every mission feels like a trap waiting to spring. Creator Nick Santora promises even more wild twists, and Schwarzenegger says the show’s bigger, louder, and funnier than ever. With the whole world gunning for them and more emotional baggage than a therapy convention, the team has no choice but to stick together if they want to survive.
