About Gwyneth Paltrow’s ‘Buy It Now’
Join host JB Smoove as he introduces entrepreneurs and gives them a platform on which to share their big plans. A live studio audience of 100 people watches as each aspiring businessperson gives a 90-second pitch. Each entrepreneur follows the five Ps, which include pitch, product, popularity, problem-solving ability, and potential. They can also use this platform to share their personal emotional or comedic stories.
The goal is to convince the audience, as well as the experts and celebrities, to support the new product. This could be the big break the entrepreneurs are looking for, as the best products will land a spot in the “Buy It Now” store. In each episode, one contestant will walk away with a whopping $20,000 prize.
Throughout the season, look forward to appearances by celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow, Christian Siriano, Anthony Anderson, Tony Hawk, and Tabitha Brown. The Amazon executives featured in the series are Carmen Nestares, Jenny Freshwater, Tanner Elton, and Michelle Rothman. Jamie Siminoff was named the resident entrepreneurial judge.
