What is ‘Hometown Giants’ about?

“Hometown Giants” is about more than just the play on the ice. The players are teenagers living away from home, finishing high school, navigating first relationships, and chasing NHL dreams they’ve built their lives around, even though only a few will ever make it.

Rookies adjust to the speed and intensity of major junior hockey while veterans fight for their place. A grueling 15-day road trip tests the Giants on and off the ice. And as the trade deadline looms, top prospect Ryan Lin faces the spotlight, Torretto Marrelli fights to stay, and the team makes season-defining moves, all while injuries threaten to derail everything.

The main stars of the show are the Western Hockey League’s Vancouver Giants, but part-owners of the franchise, music icon Michael Bublé and TV personality and entrepreneur Drew Scott, will show viewers of the series an unprecedented look at the high-stakes world of major junior hockey.
