What is ‘Invasion’ Season 3 about?
“Invasion” Season 3 finally pulls all the main characters together — Aneesha, Trevante, Mitsuki, Luke, Casper, Clark, and Nikhil — for a huge mission to infiltrate the alien mothership. The aliens are all over the planet now, spreading fast with those deadly tendrils, and it’s basically humanity’s last shot to fight back. For two seasons, these people were scattered, just trying to survive, but now they’ve got to work as a team if there’s any hope of saving Earth.
Of course, nothing’s simple. Mitsuki collapsed at the end of last season, so no one knows if she’ll even wake up, and she’s the one who understands the aliens the most. Casper might be under some kind of alien mind control, which makes things even riskier. And while the team is ready to fight, there’s still the big question of why the aliens are here in the first place — they’re after Earth’s resources, not just killing for fun. That could mean there’s another way to end this war… if they can figure it out in time.
What happened at the end of ‘Invasion’ Season 2?
Spoiler Alert: there are spoilers below for Season 2 of ‘Invasion.’
Season 2 of “Invasion” ends with a massive cliffhanger that sets up the big mission in Season 3. Mitsuki pushes herself to the limit by using her psychic connection to open the alien portal, but it takes a serious toll — she collapses after finally stabilizing it, and it’s not clear if she’ll ever wake up or if her memories are gone for good. Meanwhile, General Miller sends soldiers to storm the portal, and Aneesha, Trevante, Luke, Clark, Rose, and Sarah all end up there at the same time. Luke manages to take down the alien guarding the portal with help from the gifted kids in France, who telepathically link with him, clearing the way for the team to move forward.
Trevante is the first to step through the portal and finds himself inside the alien mothership, where he discovers Casper alive. But something’s wrong… as Casper walks toward the alien hive core, there are hints that he might be under some kind of alien control. Considering how suspicious his miraculous survival at the French hospital already seemed, this raises big questions about where his loyalties really lie. The season ends right there, leaving Trevante and Casper’s fate (and humanity’s chances) totally up in the air.
Who stars in ‘Invasion’?

They’ve all been through plenty of chaos on their own, but now their stories finally collide as they team up to take the fight to the aliens. There’s a new addition to the mix, too.
