About “MaXXXine”
Set in 1980s Hollywood, the A24 horror film “MaXXXine” follows adult film star Maxine Minx, who finally gets her big break into the world of “serious acting” after landing a role in the new horror film “The Puritan II.” But as the Night Stalker terrorizes the town’s starlets, Maxine has bigger worries as the trail of blood threatens to reveal her own sinister past.
Mia Goth reprises her role from West’s “X” opposite a cast of fellow stars including Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, Kevin Bacon, and more.
“MaXXXine” is the third installment of West’s “X” trilogy, following 2022’s “X” and its prequel “Pearl” the same year. Goth led the cast of both other films and co-wrote “Pearl” with West.
