What is ‘Nocturne’ about?

“Nocturne” follows Jonah Lynn (Liev Schreiber), a former soldier turned homicide detective who’s done with the chaos of Philadelphia. So, he heads to western Pennsylvania for a quieter life with his family. But that’s shattered when serial killer Jurek Walter (Stephen Graham) starts targeting people in the town and Jonah’s family.

With a missing victim still out there, Jonah turns to his surrogate daughter and FBI agent Saga Bauer (Zazie Beetz) to help. It just means she has to cross the killer’s path. Based on Lars Kepler’s bestselling crime novel “The Sandman” and “Lazarus,” the series is all about how far Jonah is willing to go to stop a killer when the people he loves are the ones in danger.
