About ‘Pop Culture Jeopardy!’
“Pop Culture Jeopardy!” is a fresh spin on the classic quiz show, focusing entirely on pop culture. Hosted by Colin Jost, the series features 81 teams competing in a tournament-style format for a grand prize of $300,000. If they want to win the cash, they’ll need to be experts on everything from Alternative Rock to The Avengers; Broadway to MMA; Gen Z to Zendaya.
To raise the stakes even more, the show introduces a new element called the “Triple Play,” – a unique feature that offers teams the opportunity to earn triple the clue’s value. When a Triple Play is revealed, each team member must independently provide one of three correct responses to the given clue. If all three members succeed, the team earns three times the clue’s original value.
