Why do we recommend watching ‘Revival’ on DIRECTV?
There are a lot of reasons why DIRECTV is a great choice to watch “Revival” and a ton of other shows, sports, news, and events. First is that the platform offers the longest, guaranteed free trial of any live TV streaming service on the market. While others do have longer trials, whether or not you will qualify for them varies greatly depending on a variety of opaque factors. So, at five days, DIRECTV offers more than enough time for you to watch the “Revival” premiere and to get a good idea of everything else that the service has to offer.
Beyond that, DIRECTV recently launched genre-specific channel packages that allow cord-cutters to sign up for channel line-ups that are more curated to the types of programming they want to watch. In turn, this can lower their bills significantly, running from $35 to $70 per month.
DIRECTV’s MyEntertainment Genre Pack includes access to Syfy and around 40 other channels, so you are covered in terms of checking out “Revival.” But there is even more to the offer than that. The MyEntertainment Pack also includes ad-supported subscriptions to Disney+, Hulu, and Max at no extra cost. The MyEntertainment Pack costs just $35 per month and comes with a five-day free trial as well.
DIRECTV
DIRECTV is one of The Streamable’s top choices for the best live TV streaming service overall in 2026, especially for users who want the most channels or want to watch the most live sports. With an unbeatable lineup of local, news, sports, and entertainment channels, three main signature packages, an unlimited DVR, and 20 simultaneous streams at home, DIRECTV remains a premier choice for any cord-cutter.
Can you stream ‘Revival’ for free?
There are several services outside of DIRECTV that include free trials you can use to watch “Revival” on Syfy.
Hulu + Live TV comes with the same three-day free trial for all new subscribers, and includes Syfy in its base package. All plans starting at $83 per month come with the Disney Bundle included as well.
Fubo has a trial that can last between one day and seven, depending on factors like what time of month you sign up. Once the trial ends, Fubo’s Pro plan costs $85 per month, not including fees.
Finally, YouTube TV has a trial that can span between two and 14 days. Once the trial ends, YouTube TV costs $83 per month.
What are all the services you can use to watch ‘Revival’?
You can watch “Revival” on one of four live TV services that come with free trials: DIRECTV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV. As we’ve talked about, we think DIRECTV is the best way to go, thanks to the MyEntertainment plan.
You can also stream “Revival” on Sling TV’s Blue plan, which costs $46 per month for around 40 channels.
Once again, you can also stream “Revival” on Peacock the week after new episodes air on Syfy, with plans starting at $8 per month.

About ‘Revival’
“Revival” is a different kind of zombie show. It takes place in rural Wisconsin, where one day recently deceased residents suddenly rise from the grave. The newly revived former corpses retain their memories, personalities, and even appearances from the lives it was assumed they have left behind forever.
As the town’s residents try to get used to the reintroduction of their loved ones to the land of the living, local police officer Dana Cypress must investigate a murder. The problem? Her suspect list includes both living and undead, and the truth is more elusive than ever now that the town’s dead are up and walking around.
