About ‘Rory McIlroy: The Masters Wait’

The hallowed ground of Augusta National had become a house of nightmares for Rory McIlroy. The world could only look on as a 21-year-old McIlroy blew a four-shot Sunday lead at the 2011 tournament, and since then, his return trips there have been marked by near-misses, disappointments, and outright failure.

Even as he compiled wins at the U.S. Open, the PGA Championship, and the Open, the last remaining Grand Slam tournament eluded him. But in “Rory McIlroy: The Masters Wait,” fans will get to see his moment of final, ultimate triumph as never before.
