‘Stick’ Season 2 puts Owen Wilson back on the golf course
Pryce Cahill is trying to become the oldest golfer ever to win a major, and he’s got a new coach in his corner.
“Stick” is back, baby! This was one of my favorite shows of 2025. Why? Because it’s got all the things I love: Owen Wilson, golf, and heartfelt comedy. Plus, Season 2 puts Wilson’s Pryce Cahill in the spotlight even more than last season because this time, he’s swinging the sticks himself, trying to become the oldest golfer to ever win a major. Add Rhea Seehorn as Pryce’s new golf coach, along with all the major cast members returning, and I’m pretty excited. You can watch Season 2 of “Stick” when it drops the first two episodes on Wednesday, Nov. 4 with a seven-day free trial of Apple TV.

Why do we recommend watching ‘Stick’ Season 2 on Apple TV?
Because Apple TV is the only streamer you can watch it on. “Stick” is an Apple TV original series, so you’ll need a subscription to stream it. Season 1 is already waiting for you, so it’s the perfect time to catch up before Season 2 drops.
Can you watch episodes of ‘Stick’ Season 2 for free?
Yes! For new subscribers, you can grab a seven-day free trial of Apple TV. That’s enough time to watch the first two episodes of “Stick” and then see if you want to stick around. If you do go with the free trial, I would definitely watch “Ted Lasso” and “Bad Monkey” while you’re there, especially since Vince Vaughn stars in the latter and a Wilson / Vaughn double feature is pure nostalgia gold.
Apple TV
Apple TV (formerly known as Apple TV+) is a subscription video streaming service for $14.99 per month, offering a growing slate of original series, films, documentaries, and specials. Unlike other platforms that combine licensed titles with originals, Apple TV is built entirely around exclusive programming, making it the home of critically acclaimed hits such as “Ted Lasso,” “Severance,” “The Morning Show,” and “Silo.” Its lineup continues to expand with award-winning dramas, comedies, family-friendly shows, and blockbuster original films like “CODA,” which won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
