What is ‘The Terminal List’ Season 2 about?

Season 2 is based on the second book in Jack Carr’s James Reece series, called “True Believer.” It picks up after the revenge mission in Season 1, and Reece is now wondering if he can find a new purpose in this life. That doesn’t last long when the CIA corners him, forcing him to clear his name by stopping a resurgent terrorist group that has turned one of his allies. The conspiracy stretches from Moscow to Langley, with ties to his own family history.

For fans of Season 1, you should know that this season will feel a little different. As opposed to the psychological revenge thriller, it sounds like Season 2 is much closer to a globe-trotting espionage story. You’ll see Reece head all around the world, across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe to find out the truth. I expect a few more big-budget action set pieces and a faster pace than Season 1.

Who stars in ‘The Terminal List’ Season 2?

You’ll see plenty of familiar faces. Chris Pratt plays James Reece and Tom Hopper is back as Raife Hastings. Constance Wu returns as Katie Buranek, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq, and Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry. There are some newcomers too, with Gabriel Luna joining the cast as Freddy Strain, along with an international ensemble that includes Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Arnold Vosloo, Martin Sensmeier, Shiraz Tzarfati, and Jeremy Bobb.
