Get your brackets ready, because it’s tournament time! On Sunday, March 15, 68 teams will go dancing as the NCAA Men’s Basketball Selection Committee will reveal the field for the NCAA Tournament on CBS. Following the conclusion of all of the conference tournaments, the seeds will be finalized and announced beginning at 6 p.m. ET. If you want to find out who got the four No. 1 seeds, who everyone is playing, and when each team will be in action, we recommend tuning into the Men’s Selection Show with up to a 21-day free trial to YouTube TV.

How to watch the 2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball Selection Sunday

Everything you need to know about the 2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball Selection Sunday

Why do we recommend watching the 2026 Men’s Selection Sunday on YouTube TV?

When it comes to checking out the Selection Show, you are going to have a lot of options, as CBS is carried on many live TV streaming services, not to mention Paramount’s flagship on-demand platform, Paramount+. However, if you are tuning in on Selection Sunday, chances are that you are going to be interested in catching the tournament as well, so I am going to recommend watching with YouTube TV.

Not only does the world’s largest live TV streamer carry CBS, but it is also currently offering a three-week free trial to select users. Now, YouTube TV is known for having different trial offers for users, based on certain criteria, so when you go through the sign-up process, make sure that you are paying attention to what the offer is.

Regardless of how long your free trial ends up being, once it is over, you will be able to get your first two months for just $60 per month. That is a total of $46 off during those two months.

And the final reason to go with YouTube TV during March Madness is the platform’s Multiview feature. Being able to watch up to four tournament games at a time is a game-changer (no pun intended)!

YouTube TV

YouTube TV is a live TV streaming service with more than 60 channels for $82.99/month. This plan includes local channels 32 of the top 35 cable channels, and regional sports networks (RSNs) in select markets. The base plan includes more than 100 live channels, including major broadcast networks like ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC, as well as popular cable channels such as ESPN, CNN, FX, USA Network, and TNT. Local channels are included in most markets, making YouTube TV a full replacement for traditional cable for many viewers.

…

Sports are a major focus for YouTube TV, with access to national and regional coverage, league networks, and marquee events. The service also serves as the exclusive home of NFL Sunday Ticket, available as an add-on, giving fans access to out-of-market Sunday afternoon games. YouTube TV also offers a smaller sports plan, allowing subscribers access to 30+ sports-oriented channels, including local networks in select markets.

YouTube TV includes unlimited cloud DVR storage at no extra cost, allowing subscribers to record as many shows as they want and keep recordings for up to nine months. The service is available across a wide range of devices, including smart TVs, streaming players, mobile devices, and web browsers. New subscribers can typically start with a free trial, though the trial length may vary by promotion.

With its broad channel lineup, strong sports offerings, unlimited DVR, and wide device support, YouTube TV remains one of the most comprehensive live TV streaming services for viewers who want a traditional TV experience without a cable contract.

New customers can save $15 per month for 5 months.

Can you watch the 2026 Men’s Selection Sunday for free?

Obviously we’ve already discussed YouTube TV’s free trial, but both DIRECTV, Hulu + Live TV, and Fubo will also offer free trials. DIRECTV’s deal is currently for five days — generally the industry’s longest guaranteed trial, since YouTube’s fluctuates — and Hulu’s is for three days.

Like YouTube TV, Fubo’s free trial is a little difficult to nail down, but it can be as long as seven days. However, keep in mind that the service does not carry TBS, TNT, or truTV, all of which will broadcast March Madness games. So, if you are looking for a service to watch the entire tournament, Fubo probably isn’t a great option.

Why other streamers will carry 2026 Men’s Selection Sunday?

As I mentioned before, in addition to all of the live TV streamers, you can watch CBS on Paramount+. By signing up for the platform’s Premium tier for $13, you get access to your local CBS affiliate. So, not only will you be able to watch the selection show, but you will get all of your local news, CBS programming, and every game and sporting event that airs on the network.

Paramount Plus
