Season 1 introduced the group’s vacation rhythm, with longtime friends gathering across different trips as their marriages, friendships, and personal messes kept bubbling up. Nope. Netflix doesn’t currently offer a free trial, so you’ll need a paid subscription to watch “The Four Seasons” Season 2 when it premieres. Netflix’s ad-supported plan starts at $9 per month, while its ad-free plans start at $20 per month and go up to $27 per month for Premium. The good news is that all eight episodes drop at once, so if you’re signing up just for this season, you can make a pretty clean binge out of it.

What is ‘The Four Seasons’ Season 2 about?
Spoiler Alert. There are spoilers below for Season 1 of ‘The Four Seasons.’
“The Four Seasons” Season 2 picks up after Season 1’s brutal final stretch, when Nick died in a car crash while vacationing with Ginny and her mushroom-coffee-loving friends. Then, at the funeral, Ginny told Anne she was pregnant with Nick’s baby, because apparently this friend group was not emotionally complicated enough already. So yeah, Season 2 is starting from a pretty loaded place.
This season, Kate, Jack, Anne, Danny, Claude, and Ginny keep their seasonal vacation tradition alive as they deal with Nick’s death, Ginny’s pregnancy, and all the regrets and reinventions that come with middle age. The trips take them from the Jersey Shore and upstate New York to Italy, with first-look images also teasing beach hangs, mountain climbs, wine, and what looks like a Catskills stop. Honestly, if you’re going to grieve, spiral, and unpack decades of friendship baggage, you might as well have a view.
Who created ‘The Four Seasons’?
The series is co-created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield, with Fey starring as Kate alongside Will Forte as Jack, Kerri Kenney-Silver as Anne, Colman Domingo as Danny, Marco Calvani as Claude, and Erika Henningsen as Ginny.
