Why does The Streamable recommend watching ‘The Rainmaker’ on Sling TV?
There is a wide selection of options to watch USA Network, a network that’s pretty popular among cable viewers. Several live TV streaming services offer the channel, but our favorite choice for watching “The Rainmaker” is Sling.
You can find the USA Network in Sling’s Blue plan, which normally costs $46 per month. That’s one of the cheapest ways to stream the channel of any cable channel distributor, and Sling is all about flexibility. With no long-term contracts to lock you into, Sling TV will allow you to watch as much as you want, without feeling held hostage by a two-year agreement.
Sling’s Blue plan also comes with Fox News and MSNBC, sports networks like ESPN and FS1, and more entertainment such as Bravo and FX. It’s a great choice for customers who like the variety of cable, without those pesky cable prices.
Sling TV
Sling TV is The Streamable’s choice for cord-cutters on a budget. Sling is a live TV streaming service with multiple channel packages. The $45.99/month Sling Orange plan offers about 30 channels, including Disney Channel and ESPN. The $45.99/month Sling Blue plan offers about 40 channels, including ABC, Fox, and NBC in major markets.
You can combine Orange+Blue for a total of $60.99 / month. Sling also offers many channel add-on packages starting at $6/month.
Can you stream ‘The Rainmaker’ for free?
Since “The Rainmaker” is coming out over the course of 10 weeks, no streaming service carrying USA Network will allow you to watch all of it for free. However, there all several live TV streamers that offer USA Network in their packages, which come with free trials.
DIRECTV carries USA Network in its MySports Genre Pack, or its ENTERTAINMENT Signature Package. These range in price from $70 to $85 per month, and each comes with a five-day free trial if you choose to stream them on your own device.
Hulu + Live TV comes with the same three-day free trial for all new customers. After the trial, plans that include the Disney Bundle for free cost $83 per month.
Fubo offers a free trial as well, but one that works a little differently. It can last between one and seven days, depending on factors like what time of month you subscribe and others. Once the trial ends, it costs $85 per month before fees.
YouTube TV also has a trial that varies in length, between two days and two weeks. When the trial ends, YouTube TV costs $83 per month.
What are all the services you can use to watch ‘The Rainmaker’?
The five live TV streamers we’ve discussed so far — DIRECTV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV — can all be used to watch “The Rainmaker” on USA Network. For the reasons we laid out above, Sling TV is our favorite of these choices.

About ‘The Rainmaker’
“The Rainmaker” takes viewers back into the web-spinning mind of John Grisham. The series centers on a young lawyer named Rudy Baylor (Callaghan), who’s so green he sneezes grass. Fresh out of law school, Baylor finds himself face-to-face with Leo F. Drummond (Slattery), one of the most skilled litigators at the bar. But at least he’s got law school girlfriend Sarah (Iseman) to lean on for support.
Rudy and his new boss Jocelyn “Bruiser” Stone (Parilla), with her overworked paralegal Deck (P.J. Byrne) in tow, stumble headlong into not one, but two conspiracies surrounding the mysterious death of their clients’ son. The conspiracies are connected, but if the team doesn’t figure out how, it could have deadly consequences for all concerned.
