About ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3
Thailand sets the stage for the latest chapter of “The White Lotus,” where a fresh group of guests and staff are about to experience a week they won’t forget - no matter how much they may want to. Season 3 brings the show’s signature mix of luxury, satire, and impending disaster (“go big or go home right? … In a god damn body bag”), to an exclusive Thai resort, diving into themes of wealth, power, and spirituality.
While details remain tightly under wraps, the new season promises plenty of secrets, shifting alliances, and the kind of social commentary that makes “The White Lotus” more than just a beautifully shot vacation gone wrong. For a full breakdown of what to expect, check out everything we know about Season 3.
HBO’s genre-bending show ranks on my list of HBO’s top comedies of all time, despite only having two full seasons under its belt. With Mike White at the helm and a stacked cast featuring Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb, and BLACKPINK’s Lalisa Manobal, along with Natasha Rothwell (from season one) returning, this season promises the same sharp satire, gorgeous scenery, and darkly hilarious chaos we’ve come to expect.

What other comedy TV shows can you watch on Max?
If you’re looking for more top-tier comedies to stream on Max, there’s no shortage of brilliant options. One must-watch for “The White Lotus” fans is Mike White’s other HBO show, “Enlightened,” the sharp and heartfelt dramedy starring Laura Dern as a corporate exec on a chaotic path to self-discovery. For something even more biting, “Veep” delivers some of the funniest (and most ruthless) political satire ever, with Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the endlessly ambitious Selina Meyer. And if you love a comeback story – literally – “The Comeback” follows Lisa Kudrow as a washed-up sitcom star clawing her way back to relevance. Watch it all with a Max subscription that starts at $10 per month with ads.
