“Zootopia 2” will be available to stream on Disney+ at 3:01 a.m. ET on Wednesday, March 11.

Why do we recommend watching ‘Zootopia 2’ on Disney+?

This is an easy question to answer. “Zootopia” will exclusively premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, and while it may be licensed to another platform in the future, that move is years away at the very least. Disney+ is the only way to watch “Zootopia 2,” as well as the first “Zootopia” movie, and decades of animated classics that are still prized by kids and their parents alike.

Can you watch ‘Zootopia 2’ for free?

No, Disney+ does not offer a free trial of any kind. Its ad-supported Basic plan is its cheapest, at $12 per month, but customers can add Hulu to that subscription for only $1 per month more.

What is ‘Zootopia 2’ about?

Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are still partners working for the Zootopia Police Department, but both of them still feel they have something to prove. Judy tries to continuously manifest the optimism and determination she counted on in the first film, and Nick is still attempting to determine how he fits working on this side of the law.

Meanwhile, a new reptile has moved into town, triggering a series of mysterious events. Hopps and Wilde are assigned to the case, exploring parts of Zootopia they’ve never seen before. And as they dig deeper, they begin to realize the path they’re traveling down could threaten the fragile harmony between the many animal species that call Zootopia home.
