The wait is almost over for the second season of Taylor Sheridan’s hit series.

The show is just the latest from multi-hyphenate Taylor Sheridan to blow up on the service, attracting a voracious audience in its first run on the streamer. “Landman” Season 2 has been hotly anticipated by fans, and Paramount has finally revealed when viewers can expect to tune in for the second season of the show.

The second season of “Landman” will arrive on Paramount+ starting Sunday, Nov. 16. If it’s anything like the first season, the show will release one episode per week following the debut, but fans might get lucky and see two episodes released on the first night of the season.
“Landman” stars Billy Bob Thornton, leading an ensemble cast that includes Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Sam Elliot, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore. The series takes place in the oil fields of West Texas, as companies and residents scramble for their share of the black gold found there.

Any way you slice it, “Landman” Season 1 was a hit for Paramount from the beginning. The show saw more than 5 million people tune into its debut episode last year in the U.S. alone, becoming the biggest global series launch on Paramount+ in years. The enthusiasm for Taylor Sheridan-created titles is palpable among Paramount+ subscribers, and “Landman” is just the latest example.
The series had plenty of staying power, as well. According to data from Luminate, “Landman” was the most-watched series of the first half of 2025 among streaming originals, and was watched for almost 14.5 billion minutes. The show set plenty of records for Paramount+, and Season 2 will likely do the same.
