FanDuel Sports Network has announced a huge influx of new subscribers since the start of baseball season.

With MLB’s Opening Night festivities only a month away, the free streaming service MyFree DIRECTV is stepping up its baseball content. On Tuesday, the streamer is adding the MLB free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel, which will offer coverage of the league throughout the 2026 season.

Key Details:

  • Available now: The MLB FAST channel is rolling out on MyFree DIRECTV on Tuesday.
  • Daily coverage: Fans will be able to see highlights and recaps of their top team each gameday on the channel.
  • Even more options: Paid DIRECTV plans can be used to watch a large number of live MLB games.

The MLB FAST channel is launching on MyFree DIRECTV as of midday on Tuesday, Feb. 24. The service is available to watch for free to all customers, whether or not they have or have ever had a paid DIRECTV subscription.

Fans can tune into the MLB FAST channel for daily highlights and game recaps, both from the Major and Minor Leagues, so viewers can track their favorite clubs and players throughout the season. Once the 2026 regular season begins, the channel will also offer a weekly replay of featured MLB and Minor League games from the week prior.

Customers who want to stream live regular-season MLB games should consider one of DIRECTV’s many paid subscription plans. The MySports Genre Pack will offer any nationally televised MLB games on ESPN, Fox Sports channels, NBC, and TBS for $70 per month, and viewers can add their local RSN for an extra $20 with the MyHome Team Genre Pack.

DIRECTV Signature plans also include a variety of channels that include MLB games, so viewers can choose the right amount of coverage for them. That now includes the MLB FAST channel, which is now available on the MyFree DIRECTV service for all viewers.
