NASCAR partners with Tubi to launch its first FAST channel
The channel will not feature live races, but will have a wide selection of NASCAR content.
It’s been a big week for Tubi when it comes to announcements of new sports content. The free streaming service has already surprised many in the industry by announcing that it would broadcast Super Bowl LIX in February, but now it has a trumpeting deal with one of parent company Fox’s most important partners as well. Tubi has announced an agreement with NASCAR to roll out a new free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel in the coming days, the first ever for the racing circuit.

The NASCAR Channel will be available to stream on Tubi starting Wednesday, Jan. 29. While it may come to other free streamers like The Roku Channel and Pluto TV in the future, at launch, Tubi will serve as its exclusive partner.
There won’t be any live races on The NASCAR Channel to start with, but viewers will be able to see their favorite drivers on the channel nevertheless. It will come with re-airs of races from the previous NASCAR season, classic races, documentaries, NASCAR Studios original content, and video podcasts.
“I’m excited for the fans,” NASCAR SVP John Dahl said. “They now have a free, easily accessed, 24/7 NASCAR destination that not only digs deep into our archives but provides the latest news and original storytelling. As the channel grows, we’ll be adding more and more racing content that we’re confident fans will appreciate. Many NASCAR fans already use Tubi, but we’re looking forward to exposing more of them to that great platform, too.”
Viewers will be able to stream the NASCAR Channel 24 hours a day, seven days a week on Tubi. As with all other content on the service, it will be completely free, and you don’t need a Tubi account to watch. If you do sign up for Tubi with a username and password, you’ll unlock other features of the streamer, including the ability to save your viewing history.

Tubi is a free video streaming service that includes on-demand access to 200,000+ movies and TV episodes - more than any other streaming service. Its ad breaks are shorter and less frequent than most free services. Fox executives have called their service “TV on steroids.”
