Netflix’s Puzzled to launch new ‘Stranger Things’ event

Netflix’s Puzzled to launch new ‘Stranger Things’ event

Players will be able to solve ‘Stranger Things’-themed puzzles every day until New Year’s Eve.

Known for breaking major streaming stories, he’s covered everything from Netflix policy shifts to Peacock’s ad-tier changes. A sci-fi fan and Toshiba Fire TV user, he brings sharp analysis and a love for the genre to his reporting.

Netflix’s mobile game Puzzled is set to become a key cog in the advertising campaign for “Stranger Things” Season 5. The show’s fifth season will be its last, and the first batch of episodes are coming to Netflix on Nov. 26, and on the same date Puzzled will launch a series of daily brainteasers based on the show which will continue until the series finale is released.

Key Details:

  • One week away: Netflix is rolling out its “Stranger Things” event on Puzzled on Nov. 26.
  • Until the end: New puzzles will be available every day until New Year’s Eve, when the series finale will be released.
  • Mobile or web: For the first time ever, customers will be able to play Puzzled on Tudum.com and on their mobile devices.

“Stranger Things” puzzles will be available to solve within the game each day through Dec. 31. That’s when the feature-length “Stranger Things” series finale will be released on Netflix, and Puzzled will help distract you from spinning endless fan theories about how the show will wrap up — for a little while, at least.

Players can unlock exclusive content related to Season 5 of “Stranger Things” during this Puzzled campaign, including videos packed with details on creatures like the Mind Flayer, or maybe even Vecna himself. The only way to get this content is to solve the “Stranger Things” Puzzled releases each day.

Viewers can play Puzzled from Netflix on iOS and Android as they always could, and all puzzles are playable offline with no in-game ads. And for the first time, Puzzled games will be available to play on a web browser by heading to Tudum.com, with no downloads required.

Netflix customers won’t be able to play Puzzled on their smart TV, unfortunately. Although the streaming service launched a selection of its games on its connected TV app in October, Puzzled was not among them.

Puzzled has a wide range of word, logic, and visual games to choose from. Viewers can pre-register for the “Stranger Things” event now, and start playing on Nov. 26. The game is free to play for Netflix subscribers, and users can enjoy a new “Stranger Things” puzzle every day through Dec. 31, when the show’s series finale will become available to stream.
