Is ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ Streaming? When Will it Be Available to Watch at Home?

The Eras Tour has been harder to get tickets for than just about any concert event in recent memory. Taylor Swift certainly knows how to pack them in, and the tour has become so popular that the singer has created a movie version of Eras concerts so fans who missed out on the chance to see her live can still enjoy the show.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” brings the cultural phenomenon to life on screen. The film features every song from the tour’s standard set list, with the exceptions of “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer,” “Invisible String,” “Cardigan” and “‘Tis the Damn Season.” The movie is only available in theaters, but you can click here to get tickets.

“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” is not currently available to stream on any service. In fact, the movie represents a rare inversion of the usual formula when determining a streaming date, since we likely know more about when the movie will stream than we do about which platform it will be available on.

That’s because “The Eras Tour” is not being distributed by a major movie studio. Swift tried to sell the film to studios, but talks went nowhere, and that led the star to sell the movie directly to theaters instead. In the contract made with AMC and Cinemark, Swift has the right to send “The Eras Tour” movie to streaming 13 weeks after its initial theatrical debut.

That would mean the film could be available on streaming platforms as early as Jan. 12, 2024. The trouble is, there’s absolutely no telling which streaming service will acquire the streaming rights to “The Eras Tour” film. Town and Country Magazine reports that neither Disney+ nor Netflix has engaged with Swift about the movie, despite both streamers carrying other Swift projects.

The “Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour” is available on-demand on Netflix, so that’s The Streamable’s best guess for which service will be home to “The Eras Tour” movie once it does make its way to streaming. The Jan. 12 seems right as well, as the demand for the film will likely convince Netflix — or whichever outlet gets its rights — to make it available as soon as possible.

Netflix

They are constantly adding new shows and movies. Some of their Academy Award-winning exclusives include Roma, Marriage Story, Mank, and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.

Netflix spends more money on content than any other streaming service meaning that you get more value for the monthly fee.
