MLS Season Pass to Air All MLS Matches This Weekend for Free

Fans will be able to watch Lionel Messi and other MLS stars absolutely free this weekend.

Major League Soccer knows that it has a limited window to dominate the ratings ahead of March Madness. The 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament begins next week, but ahead of the biggest college basketball event of the season fans can enjoy a full weekend of free soccer courtesy of Apple’s MLS Season Pass, which is presenting all MLS games on March 16 and 17 for free.

  • A total of 14 MLS matches will be presented free to viewers in more than 100 countries this weekend.
  • Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami teammates will be in action against D.C. on Saturday, March 16.
  • MLS Season Pass will present games in both English and Spanish.

MLS Season Pass does not offer a standard free trial, but this free weekend of matches should provide a reasonable substitute. All in all, 14 matches are set to stream free on MLS Season Pass on March 16 and 17, and as always on MLS Season Pass there will be no local blackouts.

The highlight of the weekend’s schedule for many fans will be Saturday, March 16th’s contest between Inter Miami CF and D.C. United, which will of course feature international superstar Lionel Messi. Inter Miami is tied atop the MLS’s Eastern Conference currently, and its match against D.C. could determine whether it remains at the top of the table.

MLS Season Pass is available in more than 100 countries. Once the free weekend of viewing is over, the streamer costs $14.99 per month ($12.99 for Apple TV+ subscribers), or $99 ($79 bundled with Apple TV+) for the entire season.
