NFL Sunday Ticket Drops Price Nearly Halfway Through the Season, Includes Two Months of Max for Free

Believe it or not, but the 2023-24 NFL season is already ramping up to start Week 9. That means the season is almost halfway over, so to mark the occasion, the league’s out-of-market streaming service NFL Sunday Ticket has announced that fans can get the rest of the season for as little as $174. In its first year on YouTube TV, customers who also subscribe to the live TV streaming service can get the package for $174 or four monthly payments of $43.50. They can also add NFL RedZone for an extra $20 — or $5 per month for four months.

  • With 10 weeks left in the season, Sunday Ticket is dropping its price by 50%.
  • Prices now range from $174 to $244 for the duration of the regular season.
  • YouTube TV is offering a free two-month subscription to Max to new Sunday Ticket subscribers.

For football fans who opt to sign up via the YouTube Prime Time Channels a la carte option, they can decide to pay $224 for the rest of the regular season or $56 per month for Sunday Ticket without RedZone, or $244 or $61 monthly for the version with the Sunday afternoon whip-around channel.

To entice viewers to become subscribers to the full complement of YouTube TV offerings, new customers who sign up for the live TV service and Sunday Ticket will get two free months of service to Warner Bros. Discovery’s flagship streamer Max. The included plan is the Ad-Free plan which normally costs $15.99 per month. Once the free period ends, customers who sign up will be billed that total. Neither current Max customers nor YouTube TV subscribers on the Entertainment Plus package are eligible for this offer.

What Is NFL Sunday Ticket?

The NFL Sunday Ticket is the pro football league’s out-of-market game package. This means that with Sunday Ticket, you will be able to watch every NFL game that is not available in your market via local or cable channels. For the NFL purposes, this applies to the two Sunday afternoon windows, the first kicking off at 1 p.m. ET and the second between 4 and 4:30 p.m. ET. These games air on local CBS and Fox affiliates, so if your local channels don’t carry them, Sunday Ticket is the only way to watch them.

NFL Sunday Ticket

NFL Sunday Ticket is a subscription video streaming service that allows football fans to watch every live out-of-market NFL game on Sunday afternoons on YouTube or YouTube TV.

If you use YouTube TV as your live TV provider, you’ll save $100 off the package price.

Users can choose to add NFL RedZone, which bounces from game to game. But Sunday Ticket is superior for fans who want to see every play of their favorite teams, even if they don’t live where the games are locally televised.

What Sports Can You Watch on Max?

In October, Max launched its new Bleacher Report Sports Add-On which brings all of the games that air across the WBD landscape, especially those on TBS and TNT. This means that sports fans are now able to watch NBA, NHL, and Men’s and Women’s U.S. National Team games directly on Max without having to subscribe to a pay-TV service without having to pay anything extra.

However, that won’t be the case forever. Max is making the sports package available to subscribers for free through February 2024, but once the calendar turns to March and the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament tips off on TBS, TNT, and truTV, it will cost an additional $9.99 per month to stream the sports action.
