Prime Big Deal Days returns to Amazon in October.

Amazon has a new mondo sales event coming to customers this fall. If you need to upgrade anything around the house, be it as simple as a new package of socks or as complex as a new home entertainment system, the upcoming Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale will be exactly the event you’re waiting for.

Key Details:

  • Happy fall!: Prime Big Deal Days starts on Oct. 7.
  • Sign up now: Only Amazon Prime subscribers can access the discounts during Prime Big Deal Days.
  • Top brands on sale: Electronics from Samsung, LG, and Sonos will be discounted, and shoppers can bet Fire TV devices will be on sale too.

Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days will start on Tuesday, Oct. 7, and continue on Wednesday, Oct. 8. Billing it as a way to “[kick] off the 2025 holiday shopping season,” Amazon is giving shoppers the chance to access a vast selection of deals on an array of top gift categories and more.

That includes plenty of top electronics brands. Amazon’s press release announcing Big Deal Days specifically mentioned electronics from Samsung, LG, and Sonos, but you can bet there’ll be plenty more big names on the list — including Amazon’s line of Fire TV streaming devices and smart TVs.

One thing to remember when preparing for Amazon Big Deal Days is that only Amazon Prime subscribers can access them. If you’re not subscribed to Prime right now, that’s OK; new customers get a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime when they sign up, so you can get your account now and start putting together your shopping list.

Amazon will have curated gift collections and many more specials to shop during Prime Big Deal Days, but you don’t have to wait to get discounts from the company. See a few of the everyday deals you can enjoy on Prime right now, and gear up for Prime Big Deal Days in a few weeks!
