Prime Video has brought back a seven-day free trial of HBO Max.

Prime Video is a beloved subscription hub for many of its 200 million-plus customers. The platform distributes subscriptions to a wide range of additional streamers, from mainstream services like Apple TV and Peacock to more niche options like Acorn TV and Crunchyroll. Sometimes, Prime Video even has special offers that aren’t available to customers who sign up for the streamers in its store directly, and one such offer is returning to Prime Video: a seven-day free trial of HBO Max.

Key Details:

  • Try it free: Prime Video is offering a seven-day free trial of HBO Max.
  • You choose: The trial is available on any of HBO Max’s three plans.
  • Come and go: The free trial of HBO Max has been periodically offered by Prime Video before.

All Amazon customers who subscribe to the HBO Max add-on can now enjoy a 7-day free trial of the streamer. The trial is available with all three HBO Max plans, starting with the $11-per-month Basic plan, which includes ads during playback.

To sign up for HBO Max through Prime Video, simply click here to find the add-on in the Prime Video Subscriptions store. Pick your plan, confirm your payment card, and follow on-screen prompts to finish signing up. Then, you’ll be able to watch all HBO Max titles included in your plan through the Prime Video app.

Your HBO Max subscription will also be billed through Prime Video, allowing you to keep track of fewer monthly streaming invoices. Prime Video has offered a free trial of HBO Max from time to time in the past, but it has always been a limited-time proposition. The current free-trial offer is likely a limited-time deal as well, so if you want to take advantage, don’t wait too long.

HBO Max isn’t the only streamer customers can get a special free trial of through Prime Video. Prime customers can also get a free trial of Peacock Premium Plus, an offer that isn’t available to viewers who sign up for Peacock directly. Unlike the HBO Max trial, however, the Peacock offer seems to be permanent.
