When will ‘Ready or Not 2: Here I Come’ stream at home?

The horror comedy film has been a hit with critics and preview audiences, and we’ll tell you when we think it will be available to stream at home!

We'll give our prediction as to when Ready or Not 2: Here I Come will be available to stream.

Are you ready? “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come” will be available in theaters on Friday, March 20. The horror comedy sequel has been anticipated by fans ever since the first “Ready or Not” movie was released in 2019, and we’ll let you know when we think it will be available to stream at home below!

Key Details:

  • Ready for audiences: “Ready or Not 2” has received high marks from critics and preview audiences.
  • Where’s it going?: Searchlight is distributing the film, which means it will stream on Hulu and/or Disney+.
  • Short wait?: Fans can probably expect to wait less than 100 days for the movie to stream.

“Ready or Not 2: Here I Come” picks up seconds after the first film ends. Now in the hospital, Grace MacCaullay finds herself being interrogated by her estranged little sister, Faith. But things take another turn when the sisters are kidnapped and trundled off to a new, fancy manor house. Grace is now subjected to a new game: survive attempts by the richest families on Earth to kill her, or else risk losing their power and fortunes. Oh, and just in case it wasn’t complex enough, Faith has also been marked for death, and Grace will have to do whatever she can to protect her sister.

The sequel has proved a hit with critics, as well as fans who have managed to find preview screenings. It currently sits at a score of 75% on Rotten Tomatoes, with an audience rating of 91%. The film has a 59 score from Metacritic, indicating “Mixed or Average” reviews. However, its User Score on that site has reached a 7.8, which translates to “Generally Favorable.”

The film features an ensemble cast, with Samara Weaving returning to the role of Grace MacCaullay. Kathryn Newton plays her sister, Faith, and the movie also stars David Cronenberg, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, and more.

When will ‘Ready or Not 2: Here I Come’ be available to stream?

“Ready or Not 2” is being distributed by Searchlight Pictures, which is owned by Disney. That means the movie will stream on Hulu, as well as Hulu on Disney+ when it ends its period of exclusivity with theaters and premium video-on-demand (PVOD) services that allow rentals of movies that are only in cinemas. In fact, there likely won't be a standalone Hulu app when the movie is released to stream, though separate Hulu plans will still be available in the Disney+ app.

The last major release from Searchlight Pictures to arrive on Hulu was “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere,” which we correctly predicted would arrive on the streamer on Jan. 23. It had a 91-day theatrical run, and that window seems about right for “Ready or Not 2” as well.

If that prediction holds up, it will mean that “Ready or Not 2” will arrive on Hulu and Disney+ on Friday, June 19. That will allow fans to turn it into their own summer blockbuster at home. Audiences can stream the first “Ready or Not” film on Hulu now.

Hulu

Hulu is a video streaming service that gives access to thousands of full seasons of exclusive series, hit movies, kids shows, and Hulu Originals like “Only Murders in the Building,” and “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

…

It offers a good selection of current TV shows, and its ad-supported tier is cheaper than both Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. You will be able to watch most shows from networks like ABC and Fox, and cable channels like FXX, FXM, HGTV, and more.

The service has a base plan for $11.99 a month, or you can upgrade to their ad-free plan for $18.99 a month. For $89.99 a month, you can get Hulu Live TV from major cable channels, live locals, and regional sports networks.
