Samsung TV Plus has declared itself the top free streaming service in the United States.

Samsung TV Plus is an excellent source for free TV in the United States — if you own a Samsung device, of course. It offers a wide variety of free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels, as well as on-demand options. This week, Samsung declared victory over other free streamers on the market, announcing Samsung TV Plus as the No. 1 free service in the United States.

Key Details:

  • Hundreds of options: Samsung TV Plus has nearly 700 channels available.
  • Genres galore: Viewers can find sports, news, music, kids channels, and much more on Samsung TV Plus.
  • Millions of viewers: Samsung TV Plus has 88 million monthly active users around the world.

Samsung TV Plus now offers nearly 700 FAST channels in the United States, more than any other free streaming platform currently available. That channel count serves as basis for its claim to be the No. 1 free streamer on the market.

Viewers can see a great variety of channels on Samsung TV Plus, including movies and TV shows, music, sports, Spanish-language titles, K-Content, and local news coverage in more than 110 major markets across the country.

In October, Samsung TV Plus announced it had 88 million monthly active users. In the first quarter of 2025, engagement with the streamer rose 30% year-over-year and saw a 177% YoY increase for its on-demand library.

“With Samsung TV Plus, we’ve transformed what streaming can be by offering premium, personalized entertainment at a scale no other FAST service can match,” Samsung TV Plus SVP and GM Salek Brodsky said. “This year, we’re deepening that commitment by delivering even more high-quality content, richer viewing experiences, and greater variety of programming to ensure audiences always have something exceptional to watch.”

Samsung TV Plus is the exclusive home of the Conan O’Brien TV and Letterman TV channels. It’s available on Samsung TVs, Galaxy devices, Samsung Smart Monitor, and Family Hub devices around the world, and it’s always free to stream.
