We at The Streamable have spent plenty of time discussing DIRECTV’s new Genre Packs, and with good reason. Those plans allow viewers to narrow down their cable channel selection to just one genre in exchange for a lower price, but what about the bigger, more traditional channel plans that offer a balance of live sports, news, and entertainment? DIRECTV offers these as well in the form of its Signature plans, and right now, new customers can save up to $500 off a subscription to these packages over the course of their first 24 months.

Customers can get $5 off that plan for their first 24 months, and choose whether they want their plan delivered through the DIRECTV app or if they want to stream it with a Gemini device.

The CHOICE package comes with a $30 discount for one month, then a $10 markdown for the next 23 months, for a total savings of $260 over two years off its selection of 125+ channels. The ULTIMATE plan comes with 160 channels and a $35 discount off the first month of service, then $15 for the next 23 months. Finally, the PREMIER plan comes with 185 channels, and discounts of $40 off the first month, then $20 off for months two through 24.

The amount of choice on DIRECTV is truly impressive, and its packages come with a huge selection of the most popular cable channels on the market. The more you spend, the more you save with these deals from the company, but there’s no knowing how long the deals will last!
