‘Sesame Street’ Season 56 spring premiere | Netflix
Season 56 of the beloved children’s series is Netflix’s first season as the streaming home of “Sesame Street,” which also continues to air on PBS platforms. Fans can pick up with new episodes of the show on Monday, in case the early spring weather in their neighborhood isn’t conducive to playing outside.
“Sesame Street” is going with a different format for its first season on Netflix than it has in years past. Shorter episodes that are centered on character-driven narratives now prevail, but don’t worry! Fan-favorite characters like Big Bird, Elmo, Oscar the Grouch, and the rest of the gang are still an integral part of the series.
Tuesday, March 10
‘One Piece’ Season 2 premiere | Netflix
Keep your Netflix subscription handy this week, as Tuesday will see the second season of “One Piece,” the live-action adaptation of the anime and manga of the same name, roll out at long last. The show follows the swashbuckling adventures of the Straw Hats, a ragtag but skilled group of pirates led by Monkey D. Luffy.
In Season 2, the Straw Hats will travel to the Grand Line, a boundary between the seas that may just be home to the fabled One Piece treasure. But they’ll have to face deadly assassins — and make a few new allies along the way — if they want to get out of the Grand Line alive!

‘Zootopia 2’ streaming premiere | Disney+
Streaming services are notoriously unpredictable with their theatrical windowing for top films, so I’ll pat myself on the back for nailing the exact date that “Zootopia 2” would arrive on Disney+. The movie was an unqualified success, becoming the highest-grossing Hollywood animated film of all time, with a box office of $1.85 billion.
“Zootopia 2” reunites Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, who are soon hot on the heels of a brand-new case. As the mystery deepens, the two are compelled to travel to parts of town neither of them has ever seen before, and the case will test their growing partnership like never before.

‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Season 4 premiere | Hulu
The stakes for #MomTok are at an all-time high as their sisterhood faces the forces of their expanding fame. When Taylor is announced as “The Bachelorette,” and Jen and Whitney head to “Dancing with the Stars,” competition creates chaos, temptations arise, and tradition turns upside down.
Up against unraveling marriages, personal demons, and family secrets - they must choose to lean on each other or face their fates untethered and alone on the world’s stage. The cohesion of the group has never been tested like this before, and they may not all make it through the gauntlet.
Friday, March 13
‘Bodycam’ original movie premiere | Shudder
Why not lean all the way into the Friday the 13th scaries with this new, original found-footage horror film directed by Brandon Christensen? The film follows two police officers on what starts out to be a routine enough domestic dispute call, but turns out to be anything but.
When they arrive, however, a startling escalation leads to a horrific accident. Not wanting to be vilified by the public, the officers attempt to cover up what happened, but they soon realize that their body cameras aren’t the only things watching them.
Saturday, March 14
‘The Madison’ series premiere | Paramount+
Taylor Sheridan’s next Paramount+ series has finally arrived. “The Madison” expands on the on-screen universe established by “Yellowstone,” but does not feature any main characters from that series. The show has an outstanding cast, starring Patrick J. Adams, Matthew Fox, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Kurt Russell.
Paramount Plus
Paramount+ is a subscription video streaming service that includes on-demand access to 40,000+ TV show episodes from BET, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., and more. Get free access with a Walmart+ subscription.
Paramount+ includes “1883,” “Tulsa King,” “Star Trek: Discovery,” “SpongeBob SquarePants,” and “PAW Patrol.” Subscribers can watch the NFL, college football, The Masters, college basketball, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Serie A, and NWSL. The service also offers the option to watch your live CBS affiliate. The upgraded ad-free package includes premium movies and shows from Showtime.
“The Madison” doesn’t figure to be as action-packed as other Sheridan titles. Instead, the show will serve as a heartfelt study of grief and human connection, following a New York City family as they make the trek to the Madison River valley of Central Montana.

98th Academy Awards | ABC, stream live on Hulu
Conan O’Brien has been tapped to host the 98th Academy Awards, the most prestigious film award in Hollywood. The ceremony will once again be presented live from the Dolby Theater, and will see the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award what it considers to be the best movies of the past year.
Hulu
Hulu is a video streaming service that gives access to thousands of full seasons of exclusive series, hit movies, kids shows, and Hulu Originals like “Only Murders in the Building,” and “The Handmaid’s Tale.”
The top showdown this year will be between “Sinners” and “One Battle After Another,” with 16 and 13 nominations, respectively. But movies like “Marty Supreme” are waiting in the wings to swoop in and snag major awards for themselves; make sure you fill out your ballot now to prove yourself prescient at your Oscar party of choice.
