Something to Stream Every Day This Week; ‘NCIS: Hawai’i,’ ‘Young Sheldon,’ ‘The New Look’ Premieres, More
‘Young Sheldon’ and ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ return this week with new episodes, and there’s plenty more debuting on top streaming services as well!
The sports fan in your life is going to have a hard week this week. The Super Bowl is officially over, and now that the NFL won’t be back until September, some fans are forsaking sports altogether until they can watch football again. Others already have the 2024 NCAA March Madness basketball tournaments circled on their calendar, but that event is weeks away.
It’s also important to note that there are plenty of non-sports fans out there who are also on the hunt for something new to watch. As per usual, however, The Streamable is here to give you a list of new shows and movies coming to streaming services each and every day this week, so no one is without a new favorite to watch.

‘The New Look’ Series Premiere | Apple TV+

‘Oppenheimer’ (Peacock) and ‘The Color Purple’ (Max) Streaming Premieres
This is cheating a bit, but it’s also fair to point out that both “The Color Purple” and “Oppenheimer” garnered Oscar nominations this year. They’re important films in their own ways, and they’ll both be available to stream for the first time on the same day, so a double-entry for the day seems appropriate.
“The Color Purple” is a decades-spanning tale of love and resilience and of one woman’s journey to independence. Celie faces many hardships in her life but ultimately finds extraordinary strength and hope in the unbreakable bonds of sisterhood.
“Oppenheimer” tells the story of Robert J. Oppenheimer’s life and career, with a particular focus on his time developing the atomic bomb for the United States during World War II, as well as the aftermath which saw his loyalties come into question as he advocated the end of the creation of weapons of mass destruction.

Bennett plays Harriet, a librarian who spends most of her time nose-deep in a good read. Harriet doesn’t have much time for real romance; after all, who could compare to the inimitable Mr. Darcy from “Pride and Prejudice” when it comes to love? But when Harriet herself is transported into “Pride and Prejudice,” she’ll get a chance to find out if Mr. Darcy is all he’s cracked up to be!

The 2024 NBA All-Star Game will begin at 8 p.m. ET, live from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The biggest stars in the NBA will be on hand to play, including Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic, Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, and many more. It’s a showcase of the NBA’s top talents, and while the final score is usually gaudy to the point of ridiculousness, it’s still a fantastic viewing experience.
