Which live sports will Paramount+ have in 2026?
Paramount+ has made some major additions to its sports lineup in recent months, including UFC fights. What else is on the streamer’s horizon?
Have you strolled through the Paramount+ catalog lately? The streamer has a pretty interesting catalog, with plenty of original TV shows, movies from the Paramount Pictures studios, and next-day episodes of primetime shows from CBS. Viewers who upgrade to the Premium plan can also watch titles from SHOWTIME, stream without ads, and get a live stream of their local CBS station as well!
There’s also a lineup of live sports available on Paramount+, and they can vary greatly from plan to plan. Check to see what sports are available on Paramount+ in our listings below, including which sports are found on which plan!
What sports are available on Paramount+?
What sports are on Paramount+ Essential?
Paramount+ Essential doesn’t have quite the same lineup of sports as Paramount+ Premium, but it still has a good inventory. The streamer carries all NFL games appearing on a given customer’s local CBS station on Sunday afternoons. If your favorite team plays on CBS frequently in your area, you’ll get great access to their games via Paramount+ Essential.
You can also watch plenty of live soccer on Paramount+ Essential. The plan carries games from the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, CONCACAF, the National Women’s Soccer League, Serie A from Italy, the Scottish Professional Football League, and the English Football League.
Rugby will continue to stream to Paramount+ as well; a great lineup of World Rugby matches — including the World Cup, Sevens rugby, and more — joined the service in 2025.
The biggest new sports property to hit Paramount+ in 2026 will be the addition of UFC events starting in January. Paramount+ will offer all UFC fight nights and numbered events to Essential and Premium subscribers, for just the cost of a subscription — no pay-per-view fees required.
Also in 2025, Paramount+ announced an expansion of its partnership with PBR to include streams of “Unleash the Beast” events on the service for the next five years.
What sports are available on Paramount+ Premium?
Paramount+ Premium subscriptions include a live stream of local CBS stations in all markets, so you get a much bigger lineup of live sports with this option. The biggest-name event you unlock with Paramount+ Premium is the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, which plays around half its games on CBS every year. Regular-season college basketball games shown on CBS also stream on Paramount+ Premium.
Golf matches appearing on CBS are also available on Paramount+ Premium, including The Masters, PGA Tour events, and the PGA Championship.
College football is also found on CBS, including Big Ten, Mountain West, and Pac-12 games — including the conference championship game, and the Army-Navy game. All of these games on CBS in your area can be found on the Paramount+ Premium plan.
Viewers can also use Paramount+ Premium to watch PBR events, the Davis Cup, Big3 basketball, WNBA games, and even sailing, originally found on CBS.
Does it cost more to stream live sports on Paramount+?
There is no extra sports fee for watching live sports on Paramount+. However, the Paramount+ Premium tier with a live stream of CBS does cost a little more.
Paramount+ Essential will cost you $9 per month or $90 per year, while the expanded sports offerings on Paramount+ Premium will run $14 per month or $140 annually.
Will Paramount+ add more sports in the future?
There’s a very good chance that it will. Paramount merged with Skydance Media in 2025, and the company’s new ownership team has been keen on adding more sports to its portfolio. In September 2025, Paramount launched a new sports entertainment division to continue engaging sports fans, and audiences should expect it to check in on more major sports rights as they become available in the future.
Can you watch sports in 4K on Paramount+?
No, Paramount+ does not offer any live sports in 4K resolution.
