Stream ‘Monday Night Football,’ Harris-Trump Debate, ‘Tulsa King,’ More This Week

A presidential debate and more football are coming to screens this week, but what else is new to stream?

The return of MNF, the 2024 U.S. presidential debate and Tulsa King Season 2 are among the highlights of new shows and movies coming to streaming this week.

Labor Day weekend seems far in the rearview mirror today. For most of us, it’s back to a Monday through Friday schedule this week, which makes it all the more necessary to find out what the top titles coming to new streaming services are to help make the work week go by a little faster. I’ve curated a new list of titles I think readers will get into this week, including a potentially historic presidential debate. Check out the best new shows and movies coming to top streaming services every day this week below!

Monday, Sept. 9

‘Monday Night Football’ Week 1, New York Jets vs. San Francisco 49ers | Stream on ESPN+

Breece Hall and the New York Jets face the San Francisco 49ers in the first Monday Night Football Game of the season.

This first “Monday Night Football” game of the 2024 season is rife with storylines, from the return of Jets QB Aaron Rodgers from a 2023 Achilles injury to the on-field debut of 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk after a protracted contract battle with the team this offseason.

DIRECTV customers who are desperate for a low-cost option to stream the game after ESPN channels were blacked out on Sept. 1 thanks to a carriage dispute with Disney should look hard at ESPN+ to watch the game. It costs just $10.99 per month and will allow viewers to stream the game using the popular “ManningCast” featuring Peyton and Eli Manning this week.

Tuesday, Sept. 10

U.S. Presidential Debate, Kamala Harris vs. Donald Trump | ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, stream with a five-day free trial of DIRECTV STREAM

Former President Trump and Vice President Harris will face each other directly for the first — and potentially only — time during this election cycle on Tuesday evening. Harris stepped into the race in late July, when President Joe Biden decided to step aside amidst mounting concerns about his age and plummeting poll numbers.

Trump has erroneously called that decision a violation of the law, and will now have to face Harris across a debate stage as each candidate answers questions about the economy, immigration, abortion and other key issues. The 2024 election promises to be one of the most consequential in American history, and prospective voters will want to make sure to tune in.
