The month will kick off with the BritBox exclusive serial adaptation of the Agatha Christie mystery “Murder Is Easy,” starring David Jonsson and Penelope Wilton. David Jonsson leads the cast as the young and ambitious Luke Fitzwilliam in the recent BBC One Christie adaptation. Arriving from Nigeria with the promise of a job in Whitehall and while onboard a train, Fitzwilliam meets the elderly Miss Pinkerton (Penelope Wilton) who confides in him that there is a killer on the loose in her village. Morfydd Clark, Sinead Matthews, Tom Riley, Douglas Henshall, Mathew Baynton, Mark Bonnar, and more also star in the whodunit serial.

“Catch Me a Killer” | Monday, March 4
Charlotte Hope plays South Africa’s first forensic and investigative psychologist Micki Pistorius in the ShowMax adaptation of her memoir of the same name, bringing to life her life’s work as she studies the minds of the country’s serial killers. The series also features Donna Cormack-Thomson, Steven John Ward, Vaughn Lucas, Grant Ross, Sean Cameron Michael, Meghan Oberholzer, Bjorn Steinbach, and others.

“Trial & Retribution” (Seasons 1–12) | Monday, March 11
The long-running, feature-length police procedural comes to BritBox in full for plenty of bingeable double-feature episodes. David Hayman leads the series through all 12 seasons as DCS Mike Walker with either DI Pat North (played by Kate Buffery) in Seasons 1–6 or DCI Róisín Connor (Victoria Smurfit) in Seasons 7–12 by his side. Dorian Lough, Barbara Thorn, Inday Ba, George Asprey, Gemma Jones, Simon Callow, David Fleeshman, Corin Redgrave, Richard Durden, and Nicholas Blane also make up some of the ensemble cast.

“Time” Season 2 | Wednesday, March 27
Season 2 of the anthology series highlighting the lives of inmates and staff in His Majesty’s Prison Service will be led by Jodie Whittaker (“Doctor Who”) as Orla, a single mother serving her first sentence; Abi (Tamara Lawrance, “King Charles III”) who is incarcerated for life, and Kelsey (Bella Ramsey, “The Last of Us”), a pregnant heroin addict and repeat offender, who begin their respective sentences at a women’s prison. The first season of the series, which starred Sean Bean and Stephen Graham, won two 2022 BAFTA TV Awards, including Best Mini-Series and Best Actor for Bean.
