New Sling TV Passes let people watch marquee college football games all season long.

Sometimes, you don’t need a month of service; all you want to do is watch one show or catch one big game, but you’re stuck paying for the whole month regardless. Most live TV streaming services don’t offer any recourse to this problem, but Sling TV is changing the game. Sling is finally giving viewers the flexibility they’ve been craving for so long: the ability to sign up for Sling service for just one day if need be.

With Sling TV's new Passes, viewers can sign up for Sling’s Orange service for one day, a Friday through Sunday weekend, or a full week for $5, $10, and $15, respectively. That’s an incredibly convenient way to watch one-off events on ESPN channels, such as college football games. The 2025 NCAA Division I slate is packed with can’t-miss contests, and the SEC games appearing on ESPN and sister networks will be absolute must-watch television for any fans of the sport. We’ll explain how to use Sling TV Passes to get the most out of this college football season below!

Sling TV’s Passes work great all by themselves. If you just need to see a big game on ESPN, but don’t consider yourself a die-hard fan who needs to stream college football week in and week out, a Day Pass or a Weekend Pass might be perfect for you. These options will let you stream for a day or for a whole weekend’s worth of college football at a low price. Once you’re done, you get to walk away with no more impact on your budget.

Maybe that’s not quite enough, but you don’t need a full month of college football action. After all, as the season progresses, college football games begin to happen on every day of the week. If you need more than just a weekend’s worth of access to Sling TV’s Orange plan, go for the Week Pass, and watch as much as you want for a full week.

Say the game you want to watch isn’t on ESPN, but is on one of the conference-affiliated networks like ACC Network or SEC Network. Those channels are only found in the Sling TV Sports Extra pack, but you can also add this bonus package to your Sling Pass for one day, one weekend, or a week.

Adding Sports Extra to a Sling Pass costs $1 per day, $2 per weekend, or $3 per week. Once again, this lets you choose the specific amount of coverage you want, without having to feel like you’re locked into using Sling TV for a month if you don’t really want to watch for that long.

What about college football games on other channels?

The Sling TV Pass only gives you access to ESPN and the other channels in the Sling Orange package. That won’t include any games on Fox or NBC, or on FS1, which are only found in the Sling Blue plan, or the combined Sling Orange and Blue offering.

Fortunately, Sling has also launched its new Sling TV Select package, which carries FS1 everywhere, and also offers NBC and Fox in select markets. This doesn’t have Day, Weekend, or Week Pass options, but it does cost just $20 per month, and you can add a Sling Pass to this subscription for a day if you need ESPN access!
