What’s coming to Viaplay in May 2025?
‘10 Years of Max Verstappen’

Debuting on May 2, this documentary with the world-famous Formula 1 driver will go into deep detail about his decade-long career. It will explore his defining moments, including his victories, rivalries with other drivers, and the lows of a life spent primarily in the spotlight. It’s a must-see for every F1 fan.

This psychological thriller series follows Assistant Prosecutor Jana Berzelius, who is tasked with investigating the murder of a Swedish Migration Agency official. When an autopsy reveals that the victim bears the same scar as she does, it triggers deeply buried memories of Jana’s own disturbing and violent past. This series arrives on Viaplay in the U.S. on May 8.
‘Haaland Conquers England’ and ‘Haaland Breaking Ground’

Debuting on May 15, these titles will help fans get better acquainted with Manchester City star Erling Haaland. In “Haaland Conquers England,” the superstar meets with Liverpool and Denmark legend Jan Mølby to reflect on life as a global sports icon.
In “Haaland Breaking Ground,” Haaland looks back on his 2022-23 season with Man City, which saw him obliterate the Premier League goal-scoring record and hoist the Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League trophies.
‘Chaos’

Viaplay likens “Chaos” to a Danish version of Apple TV+’s “The Morning Show.” Premiering on May 22, the show follows the oft-disrupted life of Lise, a morning TV anchor in Denmark. When she finds out her show might be canceled, she finds herself with a crisis of choice. Does she choose the stability of a relationship with her co-anchor, or does she throw caution to the wind and let the charming Johannes whisk her away?
‘Crime Scene Sweden’ Season 11

This true-crime documentary series delves deeply into murder cases that haunt Sweden. Each episode investigates a new, gruesome crime, with courtroom audio, press conferences, and news footage as well as exclusive interviews with police, family members of victims, and eyewitnesses to approach the case from as many angles as possible.
