MGM+ is a video streaming service that features original TV shows like the Emmy-winner “Godfather of Harlem,” the romantic adventure “Billy the Kid,” the contemporary sci-fi horror thriller “FROM,” and dramas “Rogue Heroes” and “Belgravia.” The service also has a library of Hollywood movies. This same service was previously called EPIX NOW.
We tested MGM+ and other subscription streaming services for more than 100 hours. MGM+ is compatible with Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Roku, Android TV, Android Phone/Tablet, Mac, Windows, LG Smart TV, Samsung Smart TV, Sony Smart TV, and VIZIO Smart TV.
MGM+ has an ambitious slate for 2023, including “A Spy Among Friends” with Damian Lewis and Guy Pearce, “American Classic” with Kevin Kline, the sci-fi adventures “Ark” and “Earth Abides,” and the crime thriller “Hotel Cocaine.”
Subscribers will see series like “Chapelwaite,” “Domina,” “Bridge and Tunnel,” “Hotel Cocaine,” and “Belgravia: The Next Chapter.”
The service also hosts docuseries including Emmy-nominated “Laurel Canyon,” “Helter Skelter,” “Slow Burn,” “My Life as a Rolling Stone,” “NFL Icons,” and “Blumhouse’s Compendium of Horrors.”
MGM+ has a solid movie library, including “House of Gucci,” “Cyrano,” “Licorice Pizza,” and James Bond movies like”No Time to Die.”
Other fan favorite titles include “The Silence of the Lambs,” “Platoon,” “Robocop,” “The Magnificent Seven,” “The Wolf of Wall Street,” “Star Trek: Into Darkness,” “The Lost City,” “Barbershop,” “The Pink Panther,” “In the Heat of the Night,” “The Thomas Crown Affair,” and “A Quiet Place.”
No Parental Controls
There are no parental controls for MGM+.
Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Disney+, Max, Hulu, Netflix, Paramount Plus, Peacock, SHOWTIME, and STARZ have parental control features.
The downloaded content will stay on your device for 30 days. Once you start watching the programming, you will have 7 days to complete viewing. Once those 7 days are over, the content will automatically be removed from your downloads.
No International Access
MGM+ is only available in the United States and its territories.
