What are all the different ways to sign up for Prime Video?
Amazon hasn’t made its streamer available in any bundles yet, but you can always add supplementary subscriptions to your account.
Amazon’s streaming service Prime Video has thus far avoided the trendy bundles that most other streamers have at least looked into joining in recent months. That’s because in a sense, Prime Video is already part of a bundle, as it’s included in the Amazon Prime subscription that comes with free two-day shipping and a host of other benefits.
But is Prime the only way to sign up for a Prime Video account? What other methods does the streamer offer to access its programming? We’ll give you all the details you need on all the ways you can subscribe to Prime Video here.
What are all the ways to sign up for Prime Video?
As part of Amazon Prime
The Amazon Prime subscription package is one of two main methods of signing up for a Prime Video subscription. Customers have two payment arrangements available for subscribing to Prime Video: either the monthly plan for $15, or an annual plan that’s discounted to $139.
Amazon Prime comes with a large selection of benefits as discussed above, including free shipping, Amazon Music access, perks like GrubHub+, free same-day grocery delivery, unlimited storage with Amazon Photos, exclusive discounts, and, of course, the Prime Video library. You can also upgrade to ad-free Prime Video with a Prime subscription for an extra $3 per month.
On its own
You can also choose to sign up for Prime Video by itself, without having to subscribe to the larger Amazon Prime subscription. On its own, Prime Video costs $9 per month, or you can upgrade to the ad-free plan for $12 per month. To subscribe to Prime Video only, start the sign-up process for Amazon Prime, and on the plan selection screen, choose Prime Video only.
Can you bundle other services with Prime Video?
While Prime Video isn’t available in any products like the Disney Bundle, you can use its Subscriptions page to sign up for additional streamers like Apple TV, HBO Max, Peacock, and many more. Prime Video even allows viewers to sign up for exclusive bundles that they can’t purchase anywhere else, and all added subscriptions will be kept on the same bill as your Prime Video account.
Prime Video
Prime Video is a subscription video streaming service that includes on-demand access to 10,000+ movies, TV shows, and Prime Originals like “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” “Jack Ryan,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “The Boys,” and more. Subscribers can also add third-party services like Max, Showtime, STARZ, and dozens more with Prime Video Channels. Prime Video also offers exclusive live access to NFL Thursday Night Football.
